Audi’s M5 competitor the new 2010 RS5 has been spotted testing at Germany’s challenging Nurburgring track. Audi’s decided to stay away from the RS4 and focus entirely on bringing out a fabulous new RS5 coupe, the one which is seen in this pic. The new Audi RS5 shows a new front bumper with a revised air dam and flared wheel arches giving it a more muscular look. The 2010 RS5 is also expected to be a hoot to drive with quattro four wheel drive, increased power and improved handling thanks to better weight distribution. Engine options are likely to include the 4.2L V8 from the RS4 with more power or a completely new engine, maybe a V10. The brilliant S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox will obviously be there along with a manual option. We expect the 2010 RS5 to make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January’ 08 and go on sale by mid 2009. The new RS5 doesnt look as exciting as the BMW M5 but Audi loyalists will find it an appealing package.
